The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices and payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. Essential Responsibilities
-
Prepare, issue, and process customer invoices accurately and on time
-
Record incoming payments and allocate them to the correct customer accounts
-
Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue payments
-
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
-
Maintain accurate financial records and customer account information
-
Respond to customer enquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances
-
Produce and present regular accounts receivable reports for management
-
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
-
Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing issues

Accurately forecast weekly receipts due from customers for Head of Finance
Position Requirements
Essential Skills:

Previous experience in an accounts receivable, finance, or accounting role

Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good organizational and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:

Experience using ERP or accounting systems ideally SAP

Experience in credit control or collections
