Anabas

I worked for Anabas for just under 2 years after being Tupeed over. 
I really enjoyed my time working for Anabas, staff on all levels were great, from cleaner to management right up to CEO. 
A company that I found supportive and did not treat you like a number. You were a person and they considered you an important part of the company. And showed great concern about your work life balance and mental health.
Sadly, due to COVID19 and the client having to down size, I was made redundant. However, if the opportunity arrived, I would like to work for them again.

Compared to other employers I have had an amazing experience during my time with Anabas. From culture, values, people and benefits, I have only positive things to express about them. Being part of a team where you are not just a number has been very important to me and feel I am part of something special. Everyone at all levels and position are what makes Anabas what it is, team spirit and inclusion is above anything I have experienced in my career. 

When i first started with Anabas we had stock that was needed to carry out the work and was a very good friendly team.But then after 9 months we got a new regional Manager and we was not getting any stock ie: bin liners,Cleaning stock,mops,hoover bags etc.And standards were being dropped.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working at the company is when you're working at the front of the house.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When we're shot of staffs and you have to put more effort on the job so as to finish your task.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is good and staff are friendly and is multicultural

Anabas aint bad but aint great,  taking us over from our previos company they had t honour our previous contracts but do try to take things away the legaly cant like sick pay etc...
trying to move up in the company is easy if youre willing to not up youre wage to do so, altough they will adviertise that job at a higher wage if you dont take it

Management very poor certainly let you know they have their favourites and do nothing to stop individuals from creating a  bullying culture! 
Workload manageable and the free snacks are a bonus 
There are a few members of staff who were great but few and far between 

Anabas management is truly awful. For most of my time here they seem to have no idea what is going on and the internal politics of the place seeps through like a plague to the point where it becomes unavoidable. There are some shining outliers to this but for the most part it is truly an awful experience 

My typical day at work would involve getting to the work place on time and first logging into the system to register attendance. I would then meet my manager who usually checked on every employee and how they are be it physical or mental health.

I have worked in the security industry for 20 years for many national companies and I can say, only Anabas truly follow their values and have looked after me.

I enjoyed my time with the company and became an integral part of the team. They are open to forward thinking members of staff.

Management are open to ideas from all levels
