GM for 14 years, respected by peers, assisted area managers in training and roll out of Operational Excellence across central London. Most enjoyable part of the job was due to its location  within a 'tourist trap' we were guaranteed a completely new set of guests each day
Hardest part of the job was maintenance of a regular team as most pubs within the area relied on transient staffing. A fact that raised staff turnover % to high levels.

A lovely place to work. Alas, the pub closed. Wonderful evenings with the local customers and great fun and organisation of pertinent times of the year, ie, St Patricks Day, Easter, Halloween etc

it may be quiet sometimes but then i have to find something to do, very nice people to get along with, it quite hard when its gets busy and it only me on the bar but apart from that its a realy nice place to work.

Don't kid yourself, it may be just a pub job but its not easy. But this was without a doubt the best job i've ever had. Lots of fun and the staff and customers are great
