It is not somewhere I would ever want to work again. I can't comment from a carers point of view, but from someone who predominantly worked in the office, it was horrendous. Office staff are very two faced and backstabbing, and the blame is always passed around as no one wants to take responsibility. Waking up every day and having to go in was awful, I used to dread it every day.
The on call system is fair, but you are expected to do a lot. The culture is horrible. The tension and atmosphere in the office is at times, unbearable. There were no perks to this job role, the clients we supported were very lovely, and the care staff were amazing but never appreciated, undervalued and overworked.
I honestly would rather be on the dole than work for this company again. Maybe if the current manager left, it might not be so bad. A lot of the carers avoid coming into the office for this reason, and they only come when they have to e.g.: to collect PPE, meetings etc.
Not a company I would recommend at all, especially from an office point of view, unless you like being blamed constantly when you can prove it wasn't your fault, and when you do, there is no apology, it just gets brushed under the carpet.

The shifts are flexible with it being a zero hour contract, which works really well with family and social life. Some days are longer than others, and you're on your feet a lot, but they train you well and provide ongoing support. The pay is excellent and there are ongoing incentives and bonuses. For anyone who wants an active, fast paced and rewarding job this would be perfect.

Work environment is collaborative, the team are always happy to help where they can and find answers when they can’t. Everyone gets involved. 
Management is great and also supportive. 
Hardest part is ensuring everything is up to date in a timely manner. 
Most enjoyable is that no two days are the same.

The company's work enviromrnt is fair since we provide home care services. However, the company's culture is poor

Office supervisors and management are totally unprofessional, trying to cause trouble or make someone the black sheep. Workers are mentally abused if you don’t work extra hours or if you have to take a day off. The job would of been great and not stressful at all if it wasn’t for them. CQC need contacting when it comes to some of their behaviour around service users. Wouldn’t work there again even if they begged

I worked here for a while. I honestly don’t recommend. You are guilt tripped to pick up shifts. Days off are none existent. Your work like balance is a no go. Management are two faced you hear them slating you before they’ve even hung up the phone. 60 hours in a week no thanks no gratitude. On call are rude. It’s a no from me. Don’t do it there’s other care companies that treat you far better 

I really enjoy my job role but not working  for this particular company 
We was always under staffed and asked to pick up extra shifts. No notice given to change in rotas. Minimal time to complete tasks when with clients. Phone called and harassed all the time

The clients are great I loved every single one of them it's the management that cause the problems they charge elderly cli3nts double what the carers get per hour and they have little concern about the well being of there clients as long as it looks right on paper they are not concerned .

I recently had the privilege of working with Caldarbale Care Home, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, which instantly put me at ease. The care home's dedication to creating a comfortable and homely environment for its residents was evident in every aspect.



I enjoyed my time at Calderdale homecare starting my journey as a care assistant and working my way up to a senior care assistant.

I had a good relationship with managment and lovely professional working relationships with my service users.

Some days were better than others but the pros outweighed the negatives.
