The only thing I am grateful for is that this job facilitated my move back to Cambridge for family purposes.
I have learned very little, except the fact that there is a difference between working in a male environment that is professional, and a male environment that is ego driven. If I had to work in another male environment, I would choose the professional one any day. 
The management of the staff is similar to the management of a football team.  Swear at them, be hard on them, drain the last ounce of blood out of them, and only support those who survive the aforementioned.  Kick the weak ones to the side line - regardless of the history behind their present circumstances.
My co-workers are all physically fit young egotistical chauvinistic males who think nothing of being crass and vulgar in the presence of a woman.  They know nothing of the world outside of their field.  They eat, sleep, live and breathe football.  I don't.
The hardest part of my job is the fact that I am not viewed with any respect or consideration.  What I am afforded is the bare minimum of consideration.  Each job I do - I immediately and unconsciously attach pride to.  Then somebody who is a coach and not an administrator comes along, plays with what I have done - messes it up and thereby makes my job harder than before because I am constantly re-doing things I have done as well as trying to play catch up with new tasks that come along.  Not at all motivational.
There are only two things that are enjoyable about my job.  The first is that I work flexi (which sort of actually works against me, as I spend more than the normal amount of hours fixing what other people have corrupted); and there are a handful of people here who are amazing and they - funnily enough - are the ones that don't get a smidgeon of respect or reward or praise.

A typical day would start punctually at 9 with lunch at 12 for 30 minutes and the day would end at 3. It was managed well so all that had to be taught in the drills would be given enough time for explanation and execution. I learnt to be more patient and organised in running drills.

Cambridge United Football Club provided the perfect learning experience for me working in a football club. It has shown me what I want to continue to do and continue to develop my skills and experience in within a football club in a higher league. I have learnt a lot and will continue to build on this.

I worked as a steward for 2 seasons at Cambridge United and it’s a rewarding and fun part-time job to earn extra money and improve customer service skills

Enjoyable everyday , playing football and being with your friends. Learnt a lot from this and valuable life skills. Learnt many skills from various different people that i have met over the years.

Loads of benefits eg free football tickets to games etc... football side of things is run very very well and very successful... school department is very poorly run

Great atmosphere to work, can be a challenge in peek periods but if your well organised and quick on your feet all the staff are friendly and the customers too.

Very good football club to work for and good staff, facilities and management. The players were very good to coach and train and the players parents were fine to.

I have work at Cambridge United for many years. And have enjoyed ever minute of it. The training is excellent and always upto date. I have made many friends and colleagues
