What is the best part of working at the company?
Some of the people I’ve worked with during my time working there that have come and gone.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Owners and management.  The owners are all about their profit.  They don’t care at all about their staff.  They allocate the less amount of staff on shift as possible to keep their wage costs down so you are so over worked on shift. They employ young people for cheap labour.  Management talk and treat them rubbish.  Never let your child take a job here.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awful atmosphere. The managers are nice to your face but then talk to other members of staff behind your back.  There’s no personal or managerial skills at all.  They don’t really have any control it’s the owners who use them as robots.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You do a job that is for 2 people which is why they employ young people its cheaper.  You never stop to the minute you start and finish your shift it very hard work for minimum wage.

A typical day at Cannon Hall Farm, can start at 7:30am or 10:30am depending what i am put down to do within the day. Usually during my working day, i differ in jobs such as, Working on the till, dealing with customers and dealing with money, Working with young children taking them on birthday party tours, petting area allowing young children to stroke a Guinea-pig or rabbit.
The management of my job is well kept up to, there are never any faults within my job.
My co-workers and boss are really reliable to work along side with as they will help me with any questions and i know they are there if i have any problems.
The hardest part of my job is managing the till, alongside 4 other workers when we have a busy day, as we have customers complaining about the prices or just have general questions.
the most enjoyable part of my work is been around animals and children as this is something i enjoy working with, but also been around the customers and helping them within the farm.

A typical day at work is dependant on what your role on the farm is for that day. I could be working in the tills, as a car park attendant, with the sheep ad ferrets for the races, supervising the rabbits and guinea pigs while the public can pet them or helping with the genera upkeep of the farm. 
From working at Cannon Hall Farm, I have learnt a lot about working with people. A typical day, depending on the time of year, can see thousand of people visiting the farm of all ages. So learning to work with children and adults alike has been very important so that they can enjoy their day out. 
The farm managers are all lovely people to work with and are very good at their jobs. As a farm assistant, I don't have much contact with the owners of the farm or the farm administrators.

What is the best part of working at the company?
No nights ,except Friday bistro  when you do a 14 hour shift if not more

Talking to management.  They  don't listen to a word you have to say.

Work like a dog but get no thanks from any one

Busy, stressful not worth the minimum wages you get

Wage is good. But nothing else

The team pull together but not supported by management

Hard, tyring and stressful.  No job satisfaction

Most people are on minimum wage, long hours and not really up for breaks. Nice people to work but everybody is just annoyed and a lot of frustration. 

Really high staff turnover. 1 weeks notice and I'm sure they would give it if anything ever went wrong. Managers not really present and supervisors not given any authority. Same problems every day.

Very lovely place to work. No chance at progression. Staff members are lovely people too. Always work to be done. Usual 9 hours a day work. Work 5 days a week dependant on staff numbers which gives chance for more hours available. 2 days off a week and you will have set days which includes maybe working the whole weekend.

Whilst at cannon hall i had to restock goods such as soft drinks and crisps and keep areas clean for public viewing. I learnt how to deal with complaints from customers without involving the manager. I  was able to offer a alternative product or food item. The most enjoyable part of my job was helping out customers and ensuring they was happy with the service.

It is a fast paced environment, with each shift being at least 6 hours. front of house staff are constantly moving, serving food, cleaning tables and assisting customers when needed, but are given a 30 minute break for lunch.The staff are all nice, and mostly consists of young people.

Great place to work, fun colleagues, very good management, an excellent environment, I was involved in a fast pace environment with everyday gaining knowledge about retail and interaction with customers,
