The only constants in my work day are my vehicle and delivery departure times. Every day is, without exception, different. Every day is also a school day, as the old cliche goes. 
Fortunately my management team trust me to do the job right, the fact that I have an almost OCD approach to the job and a very strong work ethic probably helps there.
I get on well with my colleagues and if I can help them in any way I will, in fact I would say that the whole team have the same attitude.
The hardest part of the job is trying to get around traffic and time issues, however, the team help each other with road reports and everyone mucks in to help if there are any problems.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the cameraderie and banter and I include senior branch management in this, I am part of a good team.

when i first started working there, it was a fun place to work.
really busy.

toward the end of my time there, the whole company had the monthly bonus stopped completely. and overtime was cut (other branches still had people getting it. not that i wanted it, but some branches continued to pay it)
 
there was a change in manager who was a nice guy (previously our assistant manager). unfortunately he buries is head in the sand with any staff issues (even though he was privie to people taking advantage before he was promoted and be able to do something about it). 

vans were meant to be given to the front counter guys, but that wasnt the case. if you stayed local and had been there for years, no van. if you stayed miles away you got one no bother??

one guy started with us from another company in the borders that went bust and we took him on. he said he would work for us if he didn't get transport?

Tedious job if you’re stuck on the town deliveries. Round and round the same route, it’s like being a hamster on a wheel. You’re always looking at the clock too, so it drags. 
Drivers are not expected to stop for lunch either so it’s grab something to eat between deliveries when it’s quiet. In reality you’re eating while driving. The late afternoon deliveries out of town are timed so that it’s impossible to ever finish at 5pm. Add between 15-30 minutes to your working day and don’t expect to get paid for it. 
The other drivers were ok though, some good guys. 
Manager is a prize clown. A throwback to some 1970’s era office management sit-com. Full of his own importance. 
Even many of the garages you’re delivering too regard him as a dick head.

No help from management who inheritent from family don’t care about long serving staff

Lazy staff in all can’t be
Bothered and when you ask for help it’s a hassle

Overworked and under payed treaded like something on you shoe

As a trade sales person, the job is easy enough , yet still idiots can't use the system and are too lazy . Some staff have 20 cigarette breaks per day, go missing for hours on end , hide in toilets . Many drivers don't check deliveries and don't care . Very slack management , branch was managed my golf buddies and pals that had their heads in the sand most of the time . Grown men cuddling each other in a sickly needy way , your either in the buddy group or not. Some pethetic needy staff . Backward dated facilities. Could be so much better .

Worked for dingbro for over a year now and I still don’t feel like part of the team on certain days and it can be a very frustrating and difficult place to work with it being a toxic environment from time to time. Management don’t seem to have any clue on how to deal with problems and seem to just give out holidays no problem leaving the driver side short staffed. And pass on the blame to the van controller. 

LOVED WORKING THERE,EVERY DAY WAS A A DIFFERENT CHALLENGE,BEING INTERESTED IN ALL ASPECTS OF MOTORING GAVE ME A GREAT INSITE AS TO HOW THE INDUSTRY WORKS,THE GALASHIELS BRANCH IS LED BY A TRULY PROFESSIONAL MANAGER WHO,S MAN MANAGEMENT SKILLS ARE A CREDIT AND EXAMPLE TOO OTHERS,IF YOU ARE PREPARED TO WORK HARD AND ENJOY A LAUGH THEN IT MAKES THE DAY WORTH WHILE

Horrible place to work for. And it’s getting worse every day

Long and boring and repetitive

Lovely environment, lovely people. nice place to be.
Learned how to effectively get products in a set time, how to organise paperwork, and how to serve customers. Management were all really friendly, with a bit of banter. Co-workers were brilliant and always pulling harmless pranks. It was all enjoyable, especially being on my feet all the time!
