Working in the box office (or Fan Centre as it was referred to) you quickly learn that you are the lowest of the low and the only time anyone from any other department is pleasant towards you is when they want something.

The people in the box office are fantastic, some of the best people I was lucky enough to work with but remove them from the equation and it becomes a very different experience.

When on the phones you will inevitably end up having to tell someone they don't meet the qualifying criteria for some fixture at which point you will be spoken to as if you are sub-human scum. People in various departments refuse to give people their contact numbers so all calls come through the fan centre, god forbid you should transfer someone through to the person they wish to speak to and they don't answer (or even worse if they don't accept phone calls and all you can do is offer an e-mail address.)

I am led to believe that working in other departments is enjoyable and rewarding, unfortunately I was never able to find out and remained the lowest of the low until I chose to move to pastures new.

Being a part of Everton FC's team is a privilege, they have a range of managers and supervisors that are constantly reliable if you ever need them. A typical day at work would be to start to put champagne glasses on the tables, once that is completed I will then start to count all the wine that will be put out on the customers tables. I float between being behind the bar and serving drinks to the customers, whilst being at Everton my confidance has grew and have broadened my communication skills to high standard. The hardest part about this job is trying to juggle so many orders at once, but as I can maintain a high level of enthusiasm I cope quite well. One of the perks of working here is you get to come across some brilliant customers and get to know them as the seasons go on, I work with bunch of amazing people who I consider friends for life this also includes my mangers and supervisors. I would recomend anyone to work here as it is such a fun and enjoyable environment to be involved in.

KP has been a reliable and influential presence at Everton, consistently demonstrating professionalism and commitment both on and off the pitch. His performances show strong tactical awareness, composure under pressure, and the ability to adapt quickly to different match situations. He embraces feedback and continually looks for ways to improve, which reflects his growth mindset and determination to develop further. Overall, KP has made a valuable impact at Everton, demonstrating qualities that make him a trusted teammate and an asset to the club’s future ambitions.

I worked here on/off for 3 seasons as a kiosk assistant, so its basically bar work, as well as serving hot food. Everyone is either related to each other or friends so staff (including management) aren't friendly as they're not interested in speaking to you or making you feel welcome if they don't personally know you.

Management don't provide you with proper cleaning products or warm water (there's no warm water at all) so its very unhygienic considering you will be serving hot food.

They hire a lot of agency staff who don't speak English, which can be annoying when you have loads of customers to serve in a short period of time and you have to do everything yourself, while agency are being paid to stand there doing nothing.

Pay isn't too bad and you get time and a half if you work new year/christmas eve/boxing day.

Overall I wouldn't recommend working here!

I enjoy going to work at Everton Football club on the home games as I enjoy meeting new people every day and I made some good friends here. I like working closely with the public and you always feel relaxed and happy whilst your working.
Whilst at Everton I learnt how to deal with angry customers, drunk customers and even customers who spoke very little English. I learnt about great customer service and how to work a till. 
The management was great at Everton every one of them was helpful to me if I had a problem or an enquiry. They kept everything under control as well. 
There was nothing to hard about the job, I enjoy a challenge though so when put to the test I did what had to be done. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was seeing all of the fans happy and cheering on their team and having a good time. 

I absolutely loved working at Everton football club it was such a happy work place. I learned how to interact with different people and work in a team. I liked working individually as well as in a team because I gave my self targets to meet and see if I could achieve them which would benefit me as I am challenging my self to be the best I can be. My co-workers were the best people I could of been placed with even when times got busy we all pulled together to give a excellent outcome to our customers. The hardest part of the job was dealing with delivery's as there would be so many different food and drinks to be stocked within so little time. The most enjoyable part of the job was being so happy in my job because of the people i was surrounded by and the atmosphere.

a typical day at work was a very busy one, I spoke to loads of different people every day, I learned how to operate a till, and take stock, my co-workers were all very hard-working and flexible, the hardest part of the job was working on the till, when everyone wanted to buy loads of items, and you had to be careful when getting hot food not to bump into someone and accidently burn your hand on the machine keeping the food hot, the most enjoyable part of the job was doing all of the different jobs, that needed doing such as, till operator, go-to getter (person who fetched all the items for the person on the till), hot-dog bun keeper, (putting hot dogs into buns when one was ordered, making pints.

A typical day Was reporting to  the chief steward a few hours before kick off and getting my instructions for the day, what I learned from this job was to be very patient and sometimes go along with some of the banter  from the supporters and be observant at all times, and remember what the management told me to do. The hardest part of the job was being aware at all times and not losing concentration,the most enjoyable part of the job was the satisfaction at the end of the match that everybody enjoyed the game and went home safe.

Throughout my experience at Goodison Park, I have learned how to use a cash register, serve customers and always have a smile on my face, The management is excellent, A typical day consists of getting in 2 hours before kick off, cleaning the bar, placing stock and serving the few that arrive early, My co-workers are easy to get along with, I'd say the hardest part of the job is it's easy to forget or mix up orders when so many people arrive at half time, the most enjoyable aspect is being able to watch the last few moments of the match

My typical day will consist largely of editorial commitments, although working in an arena like football can throw up a variety of challenges you have to ready for.

I am surrounded by a good set of people, although the tribal mentality of some departments is not something I overly subscribe to.

All in all Everton Football Club has done a lot and taught me much. It has provided me with a chance to hone my skills and explore and discover abilities I never though I had
