Fish-and-Chip-Shop

A normal day at work was usually quite enjoyable, I liked going out to work as i was able to meet and interact with new people, allowing me to build bonds with regular customers. I would run the till, serving, stocks and chip fryer and had high responsibility or ensuring orders were correct and making every customer happy.
I learnt how to work a till, also being around a rushed environment i learnt quickly how to construct different amounts of totals in my head and come up with a correct total. The biggest thing i learnt was loyalty and respect between customer and employee.
The manager was very friendly and i got on with him very well, i could have a laugh and  a joke whilst working which made my time at work less of a chore, he was helpful and patient and very understanding, however the boss wasn't so nice and when she was there work was not enjoyable and was the main reason why i left.
I didn't have co-workers as it was a family business which i worked for.
The hardest part of the job was the cleaning and stocks as it took a lot of energy out of me but i was happy to do it as it was my job role.
The most enjoyable part was seeing the regular customers and interacting with people on a regular basis, it made work a place i was happy to be at.

A typical day would include serving customers, stocking up and cleaning at the end of the night. I learnt an awful lot especially because I was told very vaguely what to do and how they operated as a whole, I had to ask my co-workers if I was stuck with what to do which didn't look very good in front of the customers and it made myself feel unprepared. 
The management switched within a short period of time due to there not being a permanent manager which was very inconvenient for everyone. There was also a lot of miss communication of shifts because of this issue (who and when people where working).
The hardest part of the job was keeping on top of orders, especially if they were big orders when it was busy. In addition, making sure there was enough food to complete the order and ensuring it was for the customer who was first to order to save them waiting. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was speaking to some of the customers on a slow, quiet day and providing good customer service that made people smile when ordering their food. 
Overall, it was a good experience that I learnt a lot from.

My typical day at work is serving customers with a smile, friendly, polite and positive attitude to ensure the customers are satisfied with the customer service I give them, if the shop is quiet I make sure the environment is clean, I make outbound phone calls if something is not understandable on the customers order, along with answering inbound phone calls from customers and taking their orders. 

whilst I have been working I  have learned to deal with customer service complains, computer skills and learned more about customer service skills. 

in my opinion the hardest part of the job is making sure the pans are at the right temperature for the fry to go in, other than that it is a simple job. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is mixing with different religions and meeting new people whilst working.

My day to day work based is coming to work first thing i do is greet myself to both customers and colleagues. I will serve approximately 50 people a night in the space of 4 hours. I work hard and make sure the customer is getting what they ask for without a struggle. I learnt team work, money exchange, computer skill. management is really good pay is always on time and correct and my shifts are given to me a week early. The hardest part of the job is keeping a cool head and having confidence when speaking to an unknown number of people, and having lots of kids screaming all day. The most enjoyable bit is learning how food is cooked in different ways and the reasons behind it.

Managed the complete refurbishment of a derelict property and established a successful and profitable food business for 4 years. 
A typical day would involve dealing with suppliers, preparation of food stock for sale, face to face customer service and ensuring EHO and H&S regulations are being adhered to and recorded.
As it was only a small team it was a good coherent working environment. It was a enjoyable job, the only 'hard part' was having to pre-empt price fluctuations in food and fuel costs, as prices increased markedly in the 4 years of owning the business

I would begin to prepare to open the shop by restocking getting ready to open. I would serve customers and clean the kitchen. the staff all get alone making it a fun atmosphere to work in. the hardest part of the job would be multitasking when the shop is busy and getting used to other staffs way of working. the most enjoyable part would be working as a team and learning how to manage cooperating with one another to create a quick service to keep customers happy.

I would mainly work on the till and dealing with customer service. My mathematics skills improved. My day also involved being kitchen porter. However when the restaurant area was busy I would also be assigned to serving people at the tables. The hardest part of the job was trying to get paid. I didn't really enjoy this job due to the company being bad with paying and giving more hours even though there was no zero hours contract.

while the customers wait i normally burn time and talk to them ask how there day has been and be polite. i work for 2 hours and it normally goes quick. Hardest part of the job has to be when all the customers come in at once and i have to server them while my co worker serves there food. best bit of the job is we all have a laugh and get along well and work well.
