Good place to work . Currently managing a team of 6 staff. The typical day is the staff come in, prepare the day for the running of the MRI clinic. The booking team take many calls to schedule appointments and handle queries and the patient service co-ordinators look after the patients coming in for their scans. 
I ensure the smooth running of the clinic with an open eye on patient care. I also run the facilities side, which comprises of the contracts and service agreements and dealing with any issues arising. The company is specialist in Imaging and have recently acquired the MRI clinic in London which I was working for and was requested to remain as adminstration/clinic manager. 
The progression is promising as there are many opportunities within the company. Management are approachable and friendly and the company is led by clinicians and imaging specialists who are all on the board of directors.
The workplace culture is nice, friendly and helpful.
The hardest part of the job is to constantly strive to be a 5 star healthcare centre and ensure patients satisfaction. This can be challenging to achieve on a daily basis, but that is also the most enjoyable part of the job, knowing you have provided someone with care and empathy.

Fast paced call centre based job. There is free parking outside and you get medical insurance as an employee benefit. I like the people I worked with, however there needs some serious changes to keep the harmony within the workplace. The company is growing and it's a small team to answer all inbound phone calls. Targets are very high and there is alot of pressure to reach them. You are expected to work in remote locations around Sussex and your petrol expenses are paid at the end of the month. The salary is also very poor and does not match the tasks that are expected from the employees. They introduced weekend work, which is compulsory. You get this time off in lieu, which means you could have 2 separate days off during the week. They changed the rotas sometimes 6 times during the month, so you had no work/life balance and are unable to make plans outside of work. There was a high staff turnover for this reason. After the probation period you have to give 2 months notice if you choose to leave, making it very difficult to find employment. I was there for a very short time, but I could see the unhappiness in all of the employees and they were scared to speak up. Hopefully it has changed for the best since I have left.

Poor management
Poor training and manger expect you to know everything and not make any mistakes

I enjoyed the job role but due to poor managements made going to world

The role is interesting and it's good to help people. The management don't have a clue! I was there for a week and told that everyone thought I was doing a great job. 

Then over the weekend had a severe personal issue which ended me in hospital.  They then sacked me. No compassion,  no care or sympathy.  Awful company. Stay clear.

Nice work colleagues, but higher management are not helpful and HR Team are never seen or in contact with first line staff.
 Work culture can be good on some days if management allows.

This was a call centre environment where you are literally on the phones from the time you start your shift - making appointments for patients for their medical appointments.

A fun workplace with positive investment from management but patient scheduling issues are daily occurrence with little to no support from patient admin team.
