A typical day at work could be  visiting 2 or 3 clients at their home or somewhere in the community. We would speak about their support aspirations and plan how we could address the issues/ needs. Having said that, there truly isn't a typical day in this type of job, you never really know what the day is going to be, and I like it that way. Never boring but can be challenging at times.
The management I could honestly say are second to none. Professional, knowledgeable, genuinely dedicated to supporting their staff and championing a great service for their residents. 
The workplace culture is friendly and the staff are incredibly supportive to each other.
For me the hardest part of the job is meeting  people that have gone through a lot of heartbreaking/challenging scenarios. When the support is complete it can be tough on the last meeting as you've gone on a long journey with them through the ups and downs. You get to know them well and you can miss them .

The best part of my job is helping others. I always say that I get paid twice. Once with wages the other is from seeing my clients do amazing things after such tragic starts or challenging problems. To be honest, if I had to pick the most enjoyable part of my job, it would be when I see my clients laughing/smiling. 

Working as a plasterer was hard work. The team and the tenants made it all worthwhile.
For me management ruined it.  The stress level was unbearable. 
First, there was a shortage of Van's. People would travel miles out of their way to pick team members up, but you still had to be on site for 8am. 
As a 56 year old woman I was expected to keep up with any man on site. I worked my rocks off to then be made to feel I was being managed out by a bad egg.
I will never forget the experience.
The positive is my mentor and I worked through thick and thin a d ended up the best of friends. If we had been left alone to get on with the job I would probably still be there.

Setting up our community fridge was intensive and hard work . 
Community benefits are amazing though , free food addresses climate change . Volunteering 

Very well paid, lovely people. My role involved supporting people in the community. Great opp for furthering career and training. Given freedom to manage own caseloads, full expenses covered and job security 

Mha were supportive and helped hours to fit with my life. But bigger the company went, higher staff turnover became & employees were generally unhappy

MHA looks after their staff very well as far as I could tell from my limited time there.  

The attitude of the staff was co-operative and very pleasant.

had a good work experience with this company. a lively fun business with good staff to boot
