On a typical day I would file document, answer calls and emails, visit residents to assess them for special needs and learn about the laws regarding housing.

I learned a lot about computing and the ways to reply to letters and email in a professional manner.

My manager was good.  He had fallen behind on his work due to illness but he taught me a lot and even bought me lunch on a daily basis.

There were several people within the office who were all willing to provide assistance when needed.

The hardest part was not getting paid but also having to view situations (e.g. clear abuse in a household of an elderly woman) and only being able to contact people like social services hoping they would sort it out.

The most enjoyable part was learning in a new field.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management is worse I e witnessed in a career spanning over 30years. 

Bullying from senior managers who will lie and scheme against those they don’t like even if you’re doing an amazing job. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Bullying, clicky, demanding with lots of last minute changes to cover for bad planning. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Emails demanding work be completed immediately with no consideration for your workload in order to cover for the poor management.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Dealing with people who need,  chat with parents and cares also laughing with callegues at the Cantin in morning...

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Following unwarkble plan, dropping the passengers late at theyr home and hear the parents and cares complaint...it happened on last 3 weeks only...very sad experience on my life. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very good place to work and make nice friends euth diferentes cultures..

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I had not any typical day; i used to enjoy all single days with lovelly callegues.

My daily routine at work , entailed me  being on my desk at at least 9 am in order to activate calls for the public to call. I had open and post letters ; forward calls to different consultant in the department. I had to thoroughly check application form made by the public for free stalls at the market or any free commercial property. 
The office was like a family based unit, where we all got along like a family and did support each in terms of the overall achievement for the department. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a property support officer and there was never a dull moment at the office.

After 36 years with this borough council I can assure anyone who wishes to be valued as a worker who can contribute will be disappointed. The only reason I stayed for so long is that your work hours are not long 37 per week on average and the pension is not bad (not great but not bad) If your the type of person who can switch their brain off and not worry about seeing people of questionable intellect get management positions because they know the right people, then Newham council maybe the place for you. 

I learnt self confidents building to gain a akill in construction and to gain my SIA in security. 
Learn  to build rrlationshrelationship  work in groups and on own as receiving training in other things like pasma hoist inspection and store detective covert work.
I have gained experence in management  in running site work with Qs an clients leaent a about RAMS  health saftey pratice tool box talk  work with subcontractors and other meneagment teams.

I work as a Sessional tutor. I teach Functional Skills English to adult learners. Each lesson is two hours long. I teach Level 1 and Entry Level classes four times a week. 
I get involved in the administrative duties of enrolment and Initial assessment.
I manage my workload of lesson plans, assessments and reviews very efficiently.
The workplace has a caring culture.Managers are really supportive and there is a positive energy at the workplace.

I had a good learning experience from Neeham.
As an assistant to the Deputy Manager it was a challenging role.
Lot of responsibilities to be taken in a short time as the manager was sick for 6 months.
I handled my responsibility well even under a lot of pressure.
It was difficult but I knew that I had to do it to ensure the smooth working of my department.

When I look back I wonder how did I do it? But I am glad I did!

Fast pass, little training.  Take extremely long to implement changes.  Not given time to do online training or meeting as there are no other staff to call handle.
They are accommodating with work life balance, if you work hard they do consider different working patterns.
Your working days go quickly and there's no support.
They do try but everyone has additional work loads, covering other managers 

Every child can achieve their highest potential with the help of tutors who are doing their best to deliver excellent tuition to them. With a little bit more help the company could be well organised. Maybe they should provide more opportunities for admin workers to help tutors out. Communication between tutors and office can be improved. Excellent opportunity both for children and tutors to become wonderful musicians.
