A typical day at work starts off with me signing in, logging into my computer, checking & responding to emails & dealing with any early morning enquiries. Greeting & looking after clients & visitors that come in & out of the building every minute of the day, directing them to the correct company/department, all the time keeping an eye on the car park- making sure company procedure is being followed at all times. I then have our daily food service which I inform all 7 companies in the building of, shortly accompanied by the post which depending on the day of the week can be anything from 2-3 bags, or just sometimes 1/2 of that. I have to sort the post out for individual companies, as well as Circle, then separate ours into different departments, members of staff here & make sure they're delivered promptly. Next is the CE daily banking which I have to record for our accounts department before reporting back to my Financial Director with our outstanding amount & inform her if she needs to visit the bank or not to cash it in. For all the inbetween times & other hours in the day, I will either be found on the phone chasing & emailing for references on behalf of HR & doing admin work, consistently updating them on my progress, or if it's an allocated day for accounts, then my duties for that time are chasing payments, emailing credit controllers, copying/forwarding invoices, statements & credit notes, obtaining remittances, updating Aged Accounts Receivable & organising/filing documents for our Purchase Ledger Clerk. I have learnt many skills in this role, from the most basic to more challenging... most I am proud to say through initiative & confidence have been self-taught or picked up in a short amount of time. I have found my time here mostly enjoyable so far, I get on well with my colleagues/Management, as well as members of our fellow companies here, the only downsides being the location of this job as it's not ideal for me (relying on public transport) & I do find it stressful when my work/life balance is more work than anything else... especially when my shift ends at 5 & sometimes it can be 7pm or later till I reach home. Another difficulty I've had here is attitudes from Management. Firstly when I'd just started this job (4 months back) it was starting to become personal & unfairly targeted at me, now it's more a case of just not as much appreciation given as I believe the role I do should carry. I do feel that on a weekly basis I am basically carrying out 3 different positions/ HR & Admin/ Accountancy & Reception/Secretarial, therefore something here should reflect that. I do enjoy HR/Admin the most as my English skills are at their highest, I find myself at ease typing letters/emails, communicating, organising & arranging events, I enjoy learning more about the department which has just been introduced to me this week & it gives me the greatest sense of achievement when I'm either successful in reaching a deadline set or feel that I have helped my colleagues complete a goal as part of a team. I am confident on the phone, put effort into all tasks set taking a lot of pride in my work & my determined nature makes me an efficient & pro-active individual here.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I worked for Trilogy for 3 years which included the full pandemic. On being there one month we hit the pandemic and were pretty much threatened with our jobs if we didn't take a 20% pay cut. We all signed upto this on a agreement that we would be payed back what we had been deducted at the end of the pandemic which never materialised. On the whole working for Trilogy was 50/50 as somedays would be brilliant and other days would be very negative as the office would be ringing constantly adding jobs onto you well off your route and threatening you with disciplinary actions hold you challenge their decisions. Working for this company in the end led tosevere mental health implications and me having to have counciling I would never work for this company again. The best part of working for Trilogy was your days off. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Office ringing constantly putting pressure in drivers. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In general the lads are great but the office staff are idiots and communicate via email whilst all Sat next to each other in a small office no verbal communication which results in drivers getting messed around in the road. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful un organised and chaotic

I had a frustrating experience with this company that made me feel like just a number. Route planning was consistently problematic, and references provided were either incorrect or non-existent, creating a disorganized and inefficient process. Overall, not a company that values individual attention or accuracy.

This company lacks consideration for work-life balance, employee’s well-being. Additionally, the pay structure is unfair, failing to reflect the dedication and effort put into the job. It's disheartening to see such a disregard for the basic needs and rights of their workforce.

Despite claiming non-negotiable pay, discovering that colleagues in the same role with identical tasks are receiving higher compensation is disconcerting. The lack of transparency and consistency in remuneration adds to the overall dissatisfaction with the company's approach to fair compensation.

Triology is the worst company any driver can work for. They using their staffs like slaves , cheating drivers on take home pay, they pay less than £7:20per hour for drivers of C2, and even pay same amount for you doing C1, when one of my friend that worked for them in the past told me never to try to work for them, but thought all what he said couldn't be true, so i didn't listen to him, and i still did my own wish by working for this company, but at the end, all what my friend said about them was 100% true, Triology is the worst company any driver can work for. They are just making money for them selves and forget the drivers that work for them by paying them peanuts. When you did 50 hours overtime for them in a month, they just only pay you 20hours overtime you did out of 50hrs overtime, they are cheat, and when you confront them by saying your pay is not complete, just expect the sack. Just hope this review help other drivers.One day nemesis will catch up with them.

If there is anyone out there wishing to work for circle express or its associates called the RICCO Group. please and please again don't think about it please don't do it, and all clients who use their services to ship and transport your business goods please think about it. they use self-employed drivers for as long as 12 to 13 hours of work to cover over 250 miles par day and pay them only 27 to 40 pounds a day after they have used their own van fuel and strength for the job. i have never known any wicked people in this  country such as this company, they just don't care to resolving the issues between them and the self-employed drivers,  the reason is when a driver quit another who dosn't know will be taking on board. there are lots of slavery going on in this country. companies and clients must rethink before doing business with this company

The workload varies from day to day, as with most freight forwarding companies. Most days we are busy at the start of shift sorting and booking in any trunker freight that nights haven`t been able to process. Along with checking and loading the delivery vehicles.Obviously this is then transposed in the afternoon as all of the vehicles arrive back with the various collections.

There are multiple screeners on all shifts, whether it be X-ray or ETD, and the company is willing to train anyone who puts themselves forward to learn these processes. 

For the most part, it is a friendly environment to work in. As long as the work gets done in a timely fashion, no one seems to chase you.

This job was a weeks long work experience that had to be undertaken as part of my secondary school curriculum.
I undertook a lot of the administration work, which included online data entry, driver checks and logging client information.
On my last day of the work experience, I was allowed to go on the phones to take any driver questions and to direct them if they were lost in any way.

The hardest part of the job was to go into a new environment at such a tender age.

However, I thrived on this opportunity and I learned new skills of which I still use today. 

By the end of the week, I learned a lot about the company and was sad to leave and go back to school. It would of been nice to have a longer work experience.

They push all of their drivers to max out and exceed driving time! There is heavy pressure to do more than is legal. They will not pay you, if they don't have to. Breaks are a joke and there is always pressure to do other work. They will then manipulate you by examining your tacho as much as possible to pay you as little as possible and deduct anything that isn't driving or other work - which is fine, if it wasn't for the constant pressure to work over your limits. 
This company should be closed down immediately - have have an newish fleet that they rag to pieces because they totally ignore complaints to fix issues. Major engine faults are constantly ignored. This company needs to be inspected, then shut down!

Typical day at work would be speaking with customers through either email or telephone and also communicating with drivers. Making sure the customer gets our full attention. 

Making sure if there are any problems with drivers or customers that they get dealt with as quickly as possible. 

Another main part being assistant manager is making sure my work colleagues respect my day to day decisions when it comes to customer queries. And that they can come to me if anything is worrying them or they are unsure of anything. 

My colleagues make this job enjoyable as we all work together and have a laugh but get the job done.

Dealing with airfreight from Heathrow and other Airports insuring that the service provide was correct for the client and solve any by contact with both sender and delivery points
Dealing with the day to day running and administration including the vehicle servicing and drivers hours worked
