Full job description

Payroll Senior

Location: Flexible on which of our offices you work from but will need to attend our Exeter office for meetings regularly.

What you’ll do

Process and manage 300+ client payrolls across multiple pay frequencies
Complete RTI submissions, month-end and year-end tasks, including P60s and P45s
Manage Auto Enrolment pensions and CIS returns
Support clients with payroll queries and software guidance
Ensure payroll records are accurate, compliant, and up to date

What you’ll bring

At least 2 years’ experience in a senior payroll role
Experience of working in an accountancy practice or Bureau (essential)
Strong working knowledge of payroll systems, ideally including Xero and Sage
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and confidence working independently
Desirable: experience with NHS pensions and accountancy practice environments
