The opportunity:

This is a new opportunity, so you’ll be joining a small established team that have laid down a solid foundation for you to hit the ground running. But you get to be part of the excitement too and still shape what we’re building for the future.

This is a genuine chance to influence how things are done rather than slot into a fully gassed machine. Alongside solid technical experience, you'll need an adaptable and positive mindset, a solutions-focused attitude that suits a genuinely fast growing business,

Essential experience:

· 2+ years as a Conveyancing Fee Earner – solid experience matters the most

· Leasehold and freehold purchases

· Shared ownership transactions

· Help to Buy

Desirable experience:

· Bridging loans

· Knowledge of the Building Safety Act

Key responsibilities:

· Managing a caseload of c.60 files, liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals

· Conducting title checks, raising and responding to enquiries, and preparing reports

· Reviewing draft contract packs and search results (local, environmental, etc.)

· Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents

· Keeping clients, mortgage brokers and estate agents updated in line with our SLA turnaround times

· Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm procedures, and maintaining accurate file records

· Delivering an excellent standard of client care throughout the transaction

· A team player who uses initiative and stays calm under pressure when client facing

· Empathetic and a patient demeanour with clients

· Happy to chip in to build processes, as well as follow them

· Strong communicator, highly organised with their own time and workload, and detail focused
