Overview

Join our dynamic team at the Millennium Forum as a Cleaning Operative and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the building, ensuring they are spotless and well-organized for staff, visitors, and clients alike.

This role is 3 days per week - shift times are 08:30 to 11:30am

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of the premises, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring all spaces meet hygiene standards.
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll to maintain continuous availability.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all cleaning activities.
Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly preferred.
Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures is essential.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thoroughness in every task.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
