Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Labourer and be at the forefront of building durable, high-quality structures. In this energetic role, you will assist with various aspects of concrete work, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute directly to the success of each project, providing a rewarding opportunity to develop your expertise in construction trades.

Responsibilities

Prepare work sites by setting up forms and reinforcement materials for concrete pouring.
Pour, spread and level concrete accurately according to the Company's high standards.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely to facilitate concrete placement and finishing.
Assist with the installation of drainage materials , when required.
Perform site cleanup including tools and machines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Driving 3.5t trucks to move small equipment, tools and materials to and from sites
Follow Company safe operating procedures and wear all necessary protective clothing.

Skills

Good level of fitness and ability to work in all weathers.
Accept that extra hours need to be worked to complete tasks
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for construction tasks.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic machinery and tools used on-site.
Understanding of concrete work, including laying ready mix concrete accurately.
Valid driver’s license or experience in commercial driving is essential.
