Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, maintaining and improving our WordPress website, and building high-converting landing pages.

This is a paid, 6-month fixed-term contract offering an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in social media management, website optimization, and PR within a vibrant, innovative, and growth-oriented organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management: Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive social media campaigns across key platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
Content Creation: Produce compelling content tailored to target audiences, including copy, graphics, short-form videos, and infographics.
Website Management: Update, optimise, and maintain our WordPress website to ensure content remains fresh, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
Landing Page Development: Design, build, and optimize custom landing pages (using WordPress page builders or integrated marketing tools) to support social campaigns and drive lead conversion.
Community Engagement: Monitor social channels daily for engagement opportunities, responding promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, and reviews.
Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics across social platforms and website landing pages, generating reports to optimize future campaigns.
Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all digital touchpoints and web pages.
Public Relations: Support PR initiatives by cultivating positive relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and online communities.
Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, WordPress tools, and digital marketing best practices.

Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:

Proven experience in a social media management, digital marketing, or web content role.
Hands-on experience using WordPress to manage content, update pages, and make site improvements.
Demonstrated ability to design and build landing pages that drive user engagement and conversions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling and copywriting.
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
A creative eye for visual design and strict attention to brand consistency.
Ability to interpret analytical data (social metrics, web traffic) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns concurrently.

Desirable:

Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi) or basic HTML/CSS.
Solid understanding of core PR principles and online community management.
A degree or recognized qualification in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, or a related field.
