Print & Warehouse Operative — Penguin Uniform (Cheltenham)

£13.00 per hour · Full-time, permanent · On-site, Cheltenham

Penguin Uniform is a branded workwear, embroidery and print business in Cheltenham. We started in a garage during COVID and we've grown into a 19-strong team working out of an 11,000 sq ft unit, with two customer-excellence awards to show for it. We got here by doing what we say we'll do — no grey area — and by looking after the people who get the work out the door.

We're looking for someone dependable to join the floor. You might come from a print background, or you might come from a warehouse or general operative background and be happy to learn the print side — either way works for us. What matters is that you turn up, take pride in getting orders out right, and pull with the team.

What you'll be doing

Running print and finishing work to spec, or learning to (we'll train you on the machines)
Picking, packing and prepping orders for dispatch
Keeping stock, materials and the work area organised and tidy
Checking work for quality before it goes out — getting it right first time
Mucking in across the floor when it's busy, wherever the team needs a hand

What we're looking for

Reliable and hard-working — you do what you say you'll do
Happy on your feet and comfortable with hands-on, physical work
Care about doing a proper job, not just a quick one
A team player — ego last, the order out the door first
Print, warehouse or production experience is a bonus, but attitude matters more; we'll teach the rest

What you'll get

£13.00 per hour, paid monthly.
Full-time, permanent role with guaranteed hours — 37.5 hours a week, on a 4 day Monday to Thursday 6am to 4pm pattern. (alternative schedule possible)
Overtime available (Friday, Sat & Sun during peak seasons)
21 Days Holiday + BH
