Full job description

Role Summary:

The technical telephone sales role is My Pension Expert’s ‘ambassador’ to prospective and existing customers. It requires a professional and courteous image at all times with the aim of making customers feel important and valued. The job purpose is to promptly respond to all leads generated and aim to achieve required conversion rates; closing sales and creating a fantastic customer journey.

Scope of Role:

· Speaking to pre-qualified customers and carefully explaining options and services with regards to their individual circumstances

· Identifying opportunities for sales and effectively promoting key features of the business to secure sales

· Maintaining follow up procedures to new clients correctly and in a timely manner under minimal supervision

· Updating the computer management system correctly and precisely with customer information

· Arranging appointments for the internal Independent Financial Advisers

· You will be required to model our expected company behaviors and you will be measured on these on a monthly basis

· You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to adjust and the scripted pitches to meet the needs of individual client requirements whilst taking a proactive approach to DPA and FCA guidelines.

· To meet and deliver personal and team targets to ensure delivery of results and to exceed business expectations

· Cross selling of other business areas such as Wills, Equity Release and Investments

· Ad hoc duties as and when required by the business

Key Knowledge Required - essential (E) and desired (D)

· 18 months minimum proven sales experience within an office environment (E)

· Previous experience of telephone-based sales (D)

· Previous experience of working within a target driven environment (E)

Accountabilities & Working Relationships

· Reports to Sales Manager

Working Environment & Hours

· Based in Central Doncaster

· Core hours will be 40 hours per week with 2 shift patterns:

3 early shifts: 9am to 5.30pm and 2 late shifts: 11.30am to 8pm and 1 Saturday per month: 9.00am to 5.30pm
