Multi-Trader – Social Housing (Aids & Adaptations) – Temporary, Long term work

Location: Medway
Rate: Competitive (DOE)
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 3 days per week

We are currently looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join a social housing contractor working on an Aids & Adaptations contract.

This is a temporary position working 3 days per week, carrying out a variety of adaptations within occupied social housing properties to help improve accessibility and independent living for tenants.

The Role

You'll be responsible for completing a range of adaptation works, including:

Installation and replacement of shower trays.
Building and altering internal and external access steps.
General bathroom adaptations.
Minor carpentry, plumbing and associated multi-trade repairs.
Fitting grab rails, handrails and other accessibility aids.
Carrying out high-quality finishing works.
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while working in occupied homes.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Multi-Trader within social housing, maintenance or property services.
Experience carrying out aids and adaptations is highly desirable.
Competent across a range of trades, including plumbing and general building works.
Full UK driving licence.
Own tools and vehicle preferred (if applicable).
Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes.
