Job Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Health Care Assistant (Nights), where your compassionate care and proactive approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. You will work closely with the care team to deliver personalized assistance, uphold care plans, and maintain a warm, welcoming environment. Duties

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition during night shifts
Monitor residents’ health and well-being throughout the night, promptly reporting any concerns or changes to senior staff
Follow detailed care plans to deliver tailored support that respects each individual’s preferences and needs
Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, and observations using IT systems and documentation protocols
Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety at all times
Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and external healthcare professionals to coordinate care efforts
Drive or accompany residents when necessary for appointments or outings, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with residents and colleagues
Basic IT literacy for documentation and accessing electronic care plans
Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate transportation duties when required
Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of care
Compassionate attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and team members
