Full job description

Eventus Legal Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded and well established law firm based in Tonbridge, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor with 4+ years PQE who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward thinking environment, offering strong long term prospects and exposure to high quality work.

The Commercial Property Solicitor will work closely with senior members of the team, including the Team Leader and Head of Department, and will be trusted with a varied and interesting caseload from the outset. The role offers a salary of £50-70k depending on experience, hybrid work, bonus scheme, private healthcare, employer pension contributions, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown, and free parking.

Role Responsibilities

The Commercial Property Solicitor will be based in Tonbridge, Kent and be responsible for managing a broad caseload of commercial property matters. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:

Handling acquisitions and disposals of commercial properties
Advising on landlord and tenant matters
Acting on secured lending transactions
Assisting with development projects
Providing clear and commercially focused advice to clients
Supporting senior colleagues on more complex transactions
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Contributing to business development activities within the Commercial Property team

Person Specification

The successful Commercial Property Solicitor will be a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years PQE in commercial property. In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

Strong technical knowledge in commercial property matters
Ambition and a clear desire to progress your career
Experience supervising or mentoring more junior lawyers is advantageous
A proactive and client focused approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enthusiasm for contributing to the continued growth and success of the team
