About the Role:
Manchester is a city built around innovation, industry, and ambitious ideas, and at Qeao Digital Solutions, we bring that same mindset to modern business technology. We help organisations turn complex business challenges into clear, scalable digital solutions. We believe great technology starts with understanding how people, processes, and data work together. We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst who can take ownership of complex business requirements and help shape solutions that deliver measurable value. You will work closely with product teams, engineers, clients, and senior stakeholders, translating business needs into practical requirements and clear delivery plans. You will be a trusted voice for the business throughout the product development lifecycle.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our Manchester office is based in the city centre, close to Spinningfields and the wider technology and professional services community. We value a collaborative workspace where people can exchange ideas, solve problems, and work closely with colleagues across different disciplines.
Business Impact: You will work on projects where your analysis directly influences product decisions, operational improvements, and technology investments. Your recommendations will help shape solutions rather than simply document existing processes.
Modern Delivery: Our teams use modern agile delivery practices and collaborative digital tools to connect business analysis with product development. You will work alongside product managers, developers, architects, and delivery specialists throughout the project lifecycle.
Growth: We support continuous professional development through training, industry events, professional certifications, and opportunities to expand your expertise across business analysis, digital transformation, and technology delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis Leadership: Lead business analysis activities across complex digital and technology projects. Establish clear objectives, identify business needs, and ensure requirements remain aligned with measurable outcomes.
Requirements Management: Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, priorities, and opportunities. Translate findings into clear functional and non functional requirements that development teams can confidently act upon.
Process Improvement: Analyse existing workflows and operating models to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop practical recommendations that balance business value, technical feasibility, and delivery priorities.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, product teams, technical specialists, and project leadership. Present analysis clearly and confidently, adapting your communication style to both technical and non technical audiences.
Solution Definition: Work closely with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to evaluate potential solutions. Help define user journeys, business rules, acceptance criteria, process models, and solution requirements.
Team Leadership: Mentor Business Analysts and support consistent analysis practices across projects. Review requirements and analysis outputs, provide constructive feedback, and help raise the quality of business analysis within the wider team.
Data and Insight: Use available business data, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback to support recommendations. Challenge assumptions and use evidence to help teams make informed decisions.
Delivery Support: Remain involved throughout implementation to clarify requirements, support testing, resolve ambiguities, and ensure delivered solutions meet the agreed business objectives.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, technology consulting, product development, or a related field, with experience leading complex initiatives or mentoring other analysts.
Business Analysis Skills: Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling, stakeholder workshops, user stories, acceptance criteria, business process analysis, and solution definition.
Stakeholder Communication: You can confidently facilitate discussions with senior business stakeholders and technical teams. You are comfortable challenging assumptions while maintaining positive and productive relationships.
Delivery Methods: Experience working within Agile environments is essential. Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, product delivery frameworks, and modern software development lifecycles is highly valued.
Technical Understanding: You do not need to be a software developer, but you should understand APIs, data flows, integrations, cloud platforms, databases, and how business requirements translate into technical solutions.
Analytical Mindset: You are naturally curious and comfortable working with complex information. You can identify the underlying business problem rather than simply documenting the requested solution.
Leadership Mindset: You are confident taking ownership, mentoring colleagues, coordinating analysis activities, and influencing decisions without relying on formal executive authority.
Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
