Full job description

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Animates Vets on a full-time permanent basis. This role will cover both Thurlby and Market Deeping.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

8am to 7pm with a 1 hour break and a fixed day off Monday to Friday plus 1:4 Saturdays paid as overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

Answering phone calls, emails, and general enquiries

Booking appointments and processing payments

Assisting with administrative tasks such as debt prevention and recovery

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Liaising with the clinical team to ensure excellent client service
