The DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport is conveniently located within the airport complex, making it an excellent choice for pre-flight stays. We are looking for a hard-working, proactive and passionate Kitchen Porter to join our Truly Talented kitchen team!

What we offer

£26,852.80 per annum plus Tronc (service charge)
Permanent, full-time contract (40hrs per week) Must be flexable to work 5/7 days with a mix of early & late shifts ( 6.30am - 3pm / 3pm - 11.30pm)

Your role

You will be a key member of our kitchen team. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties and oversee the operation of pot-washing machinery, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, and help deliver an excellent guest experience while ensuring back-of-house areas are clean and Health & Safety guidelines are observed.

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment.
Assist with the receipt, storage, and organisation of deliveries.
Ensure rubbish and recycling are disposed of safely and correctly.
Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
Keep floors, walls, work surfaces, and storage areas clean and hazard-free.
Follow all food safety, health and safety, and COSHH regulations.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment faults to management.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
