Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waitresses to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidates will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality sector, working in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. All positions are paid, including internships, and are suitable for individuals passionate about food service and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
Handle guest queries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide receipts to guests
Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience is desirable
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
