Full job description

Part-Time Sales & Business Development Executive

Location: Taunton

Hours: 29 per Week | Flexible Working
Salary: £12.71–£14.00 per hour + Commission | OTE £34,000–£36,000

Want the earning potential of sales without the 50-hour working week?

Clarity Copiers Western Ltd is looking for a confident, resilient and genuinely sales-driven person to join our established Taunton team.

This is a NEW BUSINESS SALES role — not an admin position.

You'll be generating new business through a mixture of:

Face-to-face canvassing and door knocking
Cold calling local businesses
Following up existing leads through our Zoho CRM
Email marketing campaigns and prospect follow-up
Booking and attending appointments
Building relationships with local businesses
Developing your own sales pipeline and closing opportunities

You need to be comfortable hearing "no".

Canvassing isn't always a warm welcome, cold calling isn't always easy, and you'll need the confidence to pick yourself up and move straight onto the next opportunity.

But if you're good at building relationships and motivated by earning commission, there's excellent potential.

The Package

£12.71–£14.00 per hour + commission

Realistic OTE: £34,000–£36,000 per year

Commission earning potential of approximately £15,000 per year, dependent on performance and sales achieved..

And importantly, your working week is considerably shorter than the typical full-time sales role.

Flexible working

Our standard working pattern is:

Monday–Thursday: 10am–4pm
Friday: 9am–4:30pm
30-minute lunch break

However, we're happy to discuss hours that work around your life — for example 9am–3pm or 11am–5pm.

You'll also receive:

Established CRM with existing leads
Email marketing campaigns to support your prospecting
Existing sales and marketing materials
Local sales territory
Freedom to manage your own sales activity
Opportunity to potentially develop into the marketing side of the business in the future

On Friday mornings you'll provide some basic administrative cover for the office, before returning to sales activity in the afternoon.

Who We're Looking For

We're much more interested in your personality and attitude than your knowledge of printers.

You need to be confident, resilient, personable and comfortable approaching complete strangers.

If you're someone who can walk through a business's front door, start a conversation, handle rejection, pick up the phone again after someone says no — and ultimately turn conversations into customers — we want to hear from you.

Previous B2B sales experience would be great, but we're equally interested in people from recruitment, estate agency, telesales or other target-driven environments.

Full training on our products and services will be provided.

If you're looking for a purely office-based or administrative role, this probably isn't the position for you.

But if you're looking for flexible working hours, genuine earning potential and the freedom to build your own customer base, we'd love to hear from you.

This role may suit someone currently working as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Recruitment Consultant, Estate Agent, Telesales Executive, Account Manager or Field Sales Representative who is looking for a better work-life balance without giving up the opportunity to earn commission.
