Join MASAJ as a Pick-Up / Cover Therapist

We’re building a flexible bench of Pick-Up / Cover Therapists to support our rotating studio schedule. This role suits a therapist who wants genuine flexibility, picking up both short-notice and advance shifts to cover team sickness, leave and natural gaps in our rota, with a minimum requirement of just 2 shifts every 4 weeks.

The Role

As a Pick-Up / Cover Massage Therapist with MASAJ you will:

Deliver tailored massage treatments from our treatment menu (Relaxing, Deep Tissue and Couples) in line with our brand standard. Sports, pregnancy massage, Lymphatic drainage highly desirable. Facework training in-house.
Cover shifts (opening 08:00 - 14:45 / closing 15:00 - 21:45) at short notice or booked further in advance, filling gaps caused by team sickness, leave and natural spaces in our rotating schedule, ensuring no more than 5.75 hours of massage per shift.
Work flexibly across our studio locations as needed.
Build and retain a client base within the MASAJ studio environment.
Maintain a professional, welcoming and inclusive client experience that reflects our ethos “Come As You Are”.
Work to our high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer service, delivering an elevated guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

You must hold a relevant level 3 body massage and Deep Tissue or Sports qualification and be insured and registered with a recognised regulatory body.
Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is required (especially delivering deep tissue).
A warm, professional demeanour with excellent communication and client-care skills.
Genuine flexibility and the ability to respond to both short-notice and pre-booked cover shifts, across weekdays and weekends.
Willingness and ability to fulfil a minimum of 2 shifts per 4 weeks, with the opportunity to pick up more.
Ability to complete our practical assessment process, provide reliable references and be able to complete onboarding and site inductions.
A commitment to delivering high-quality, tailored bodywork, celebrating the uniqueness of each client.
