Your Role
The Digital Marketing Executive will manage and develop Safety Solutions' social media platforms, WordPress website and online promotional activity. You will create engaging campaigns that showcase our products, special offers, brands, industry expertise and customer solutions across a wide range of sectors. The main objective of the role is to increase brand awareness, generate qualified enquiries and deliver measurable growth in website traffic, online sales and Trade Shop visits.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow Safety Solutions' social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
- Plan, schedule and publish content using Meta Business Suite, ensuring regular and consistent posting across Facebook and Instagram.
- Monitor campaign performance, audience insights and engagement through Meta Business Suite and recommend improvements.
- Create engaging daily content that promotes our products, brands, offers and business capabilities.
- Develop product videos, photographs, reels, customer stories and behind-the-scenes content.
- Build campaigns targeted at builders' merchants, contractors, facilities managers, councils, manufacturers, farmers, engineering companies and other key industries.
- Respond professionally to online comments, messages and sales enquiries.
- Monitor social media trends and identify new opportunities to grow engagement and reach.
Website and E-Commerce Growth
- Manage and continually improve the Safety Solutions WordPress website.
- Upload new products, images, descriptions, prices and promotional offers.
- Update website pages, blog articles and promotional landing pages within WordPress.
- Ensure product information is accurate, professional and easy for customers to understand.
- Improve the customer journey and make it easier for visitors to find and purchase the correct products.
- Develop campaigns designed to increase website traffic, enquiries and online conversions.
- Work to improve product visibility through search-engine optimisation and relevant online content.
- Analyse website activity and identify opportunities for growth.
Product and Brand Promotion
Create strong digital campaigns across our extensive range, including:
- Branded workwear and corporate clothing
- Safety footwear and work boots
- Protective gloves and hand protection
- Personal protective equipment
- High-visibility clothing
- Traffic cones, barriers and traffic-management products
- Street furniture and public-realm products
- Litter bins and waste-management solutions
- Winter-maintenance products
- Workplace, industrial and site-safety equipment
Work closely with leading supplier brands to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, trade offers and new dealer initiatives.
Digital Campaigns and Promotions
- Plan and deliver campaigns around new products, clearance offers, seasonal promotions and industry events.
- Produce promotional material for email marketing, social media, the website and Trade Shop.
- Support campaigns for key trading periods, including winter safety, apprentice workwear, farm safety, show season, Christmas promotions and new product launches.
- Promote stock availability and special offers while helping the sales team generate new enquiries.
- Develop targeted campaigns to increase customer visits to our Lisburn Trade Shop.
- Support trade exhibitions, product demonstrations, customer events and dealer promotions.
Content Creation
- Photograph and video products in real working environments.
- Design professional graphics, brochures, promotional material and social media content using Canva.
- Create engaging promotional videos, reels and product presentations.
- Maintain consistent branding across all marketing channels.
- Write clear and persuasive product descriptions, website articles, social posts and email campaigns.
- Turn product specifications and technical information into engaging customer-focused content.
- Develop customer case studies that demonstrate how Safety Solutions solves real workplace and public-safety challenges.
Performance and Reporting
- Monitor website traffic, social engagement, enquiries and online sales.
- Track the results of digital campaigns and paid advertising.
- Produce regular performance reports showing what is working and where improvements can be made.
- Use data to continually improve content, targeting and return on marketing investment.
- Establish clear growth targets for followers, website visitors, enquiries, Trade Shop visits and sales.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is creative, commercially focused and comfortable working across multiple product ranges and industries.The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management or e-commerce.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite to schedule content, manage social media accounts and analyse campaign performance.
- Experience using Canva to create professional graphics, marketing material and social media content.
- Experience managing and updating WordPress websites, including products, pages and promotional content.
- Experience creating videos, graphics and promotional content.
- An understanding of website management and online product listings.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage several campaigns and priorities at the same time.
- A commercial mindset with a clear understanding that marketing activity must help generate enquiries and sales.
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating with our sales team, suppliers and customers.
- An interest in workwear, construction, manufacturing, safety products or business-to-business marketing would be an advantage.
- Experience with video-editing software, email marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, paid social advertising and e-commerce platforms would also be beneficial.
