Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant kitchen team. In the Kitchen you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, food safety practices, and maintaining high culinary standards. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients in accordance with recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food products.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution.
Support chefs and other team members in various culinary tasks as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in meal preparation or food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
A basic understanding of food safety regulations and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.
A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing kitchen demands.
