This Head of Private Client job offers the opportunity to take a leading position within a growing and respected legal practice. You will be responsible for the continued success and development of the department, helping to shape its future direction while ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained. Alongside strategic leadership responsibilities, you will remain actively involved in client work and play an important part in supporting colleagues and driving business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and direction to the Private Client Department
- Driving departmental growth, performance and service excellence
- Overseeing compliance, quality standards and risk management processes
- Supporting the development, supervision and progression of legal and support staff
- Contributing to business development activities and raising the department's profile
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Managing a varied caseload involving wills, trusts, probate and estate matters
- Advising on lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
- Ensuring accurate management of departmental processes and procedures
You will be an experienced private client solicitor who enjoys combining technical legal work with leadership responsibilities. You will be comfortable building relationships with clients and colleagues alike while maintaining high professional standards.

- Qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in private client law
