Job Description:

Finance Graduate

Location: Prestwick, Ayrshire

Hours: 37 hours per week (half day Friday)

Type: Fixed Term (4 years)

Travel Required: Occasional

Work Location: Site based

Security Checks: BPSS, Disclosure Scotland, pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing)

Prestwick Aerosystems continues Ayrshire’s long-standing aircraft manufacturing tradition. From our Prestwick site, we manufacture aircraft wing structures used on Airbus commercial aircraft programmes worldwide.

This four-year structured Finance Graduate programme provides broad exposure across financial accounting, cost accounting, estimating and commercial, and programme finance. You will develop strong financial, analytical and commercial capability through hands-on experience, structured rotations and business partnering responsibilities, with full support toward a professional accounting qualification and a clear pathway into a Finance Analyst or Programme Finance role.

How you will contribute to the team

You will:

Complete structured rotations across financial accounting, cost accounting, estimating & commercial and programme finance, building a strong foundation in financial control and reporting.
Support financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis, working with teams across the business to understand and improve cost and operational drivers.
Contribute to commercial and estimating activities, supporting business cases, cost models and financial inputs to decision making.
Provide ongoing finance business partnering support, analysing large data sets, preparing reporting and supporting stakeholders with financial insight.

Requirements for the role

You will have:

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline
Strong numerical and analytical capability
Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Ability to work with complex data sets and financial information
