Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Tyre Fitter to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate is someone who has a good mechanical understanding and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in vehicle maintenance and join a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Remove and replace tyres efficiently using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper fitment and safety standards.
Conduct tyre inspections to identify damage or wear, advising customers on necessary repairs or replacements.
Perform wheel balancing and alignment tasks to optimize vehicle performance and safety.
Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including checking tyre pressure and tread depth.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Support the team during busy periods by helping with heavy lifting and manual handling of tyres and wheels.
Provide friendly, professional customer service by explaining services performed and answering customer questions clearly.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Every other Saturday 8am - 1pm

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
