Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Receptionist to join the Parkside Private Patients team at Heatherwood Hospital.

The post holder will provide a professional, welcoming and efficient front-of-house service for private patients, visitors and consultants, ensuring an excellent patient experience at all times. Responsibilities include managing patient bookings, preparing documentation, processing patient and insurance details, supporting billing processes and responding to enquiries in a timely and courteous manner.

The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Working Hours:
Thursday: 2.00pm to 8.00pm

Friday: 1.00pm to 6.00pm

The role requires a flexible and professional approach, maintaining high standards of confidentiality and customer care while supporting the smooth operation of the Parkside Private Patients service.

First point of contact for private patients, visitors and consultants attending the Parkside Suite.

Provides reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Manages patient appointments, enquiries, and clinic administration.

Maintains accurate patient, insurance and payment records.
Supports the private patient billing process through effective documentation management.

Handles confidential information in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.

Works independently and as part of the wider Parkside team to deliver an excellent patient experience.

Provide an efficient Reception service to the Parkside Suite, Heatherwood.

Ensure all visitors to Parkside receive outstanding customer experience.

Visa Sponsorship:
This position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract.
