Full job description

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures.
Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment.
Process dental radiographs (where appropriately qualified).
Prepare and maintain dental materials, including cements and impression materials.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Support the wider practice team in delivering an excellent patient experience.

Experience:

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse or Dental Assistant is preferred; however, full training can be provided for the right candidate.
GDC registration is required for qualified Dental Nurses.
Post-qualification skills are desirable, such as Dental Radiography, Oral Health Education, Sedation Nursing, Fluoride Application, or other recognised dental nursing qualifications. Support for further professional development may be available.
