Full job description

The Physiotherapy Department is seeking part time Receptionists to join their friendly departments and teams at Stoke Mandeville Hospital (34 hrs).
This busy role requires excellent communication and customer care skills, strong multitasking ability, and a warm, professional approach. You will provide an efficient reception service, supporting both patients and the clinical team with a range of administrative duties related to supporting the out patient therapy services.
Computer skills are desirable, and full training will be provided on our electronic booking system

Manage and schedule appointments.
Provide professional reception service for the department, welcoming patients and their relatives, in professional and empathic manner, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries.
Work closely with clinical and operational team to ensure smooth operation of clinics.
Maintain and manage patient records, including registration, data entry, and records management in line with guidelines.
Manage incoming and outgoing post and ensure reception areas are secure at the end of the day.
Provide cross-site cover when required
Participate in audits, surveys, and ongoing training.
Undertake other duties appropriate to the role.
