Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Massage Therapist to join our wellness team! In this vital role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our clients. Your expertise in anatomy and therapeutic techniques will help create a calming environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals’ health while working in a dynamic, supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Perform customized massage sessions based on client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or wellness routines
Keep detailed records of each session, including client feedback and treatment notes
Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills
Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized after each use

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a valid license or certification in massage therapy
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide clear guidance
Ability to create a relaxing atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort
Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings or weekends as needed
Commitment to maintaining professional standards of hygiene and confidentiality
