Full job description

Seaglaze Group – Rackheath, Norwich
Full-Time | Permanent | Office-Based

Seaglaze Group is a family-owned manufacturing group employing more than 70 people across two specialist businesses: Seaglaze Marine Windows, manufacturing bespoke marine windows, doors and hatches, and Specialist Toughened Glass, producing specialist glass for a wide range of industries.

We are looking for a confident and commercially driven Group Sales Executive to work across both businesses, developing existing customers, generating new business and helping grow Group sales.

This is not a field sales role. The position will be office-based across our Rackheath sites, with the majority of customer contact carried out by telephone, email and online communication.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Supervisors, the successful candidate will:

Sell our products to boat and yacht builders, glass merchants, builders and other specialist customers.
Proactively contact new, existing and lapsed customers.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Generate new enquiries and identify opportunities within existing accounts.
Follow up quotations and actively progress opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Manage your own workload, follow-ups and sales activity effectively.
Work alongside our technical and production teams to understand customer requirements.
Develop a strong understanding of the products and capabilities across both businesses.
Attend and support UK and international trade shows when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Confident and professional when speaking to customers.
Comfortable making proactive outbound sales calls.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
Commercially minded with a positive approach to sales.
Organised and able to manage their own workload.
Good at building long-term customer relationships.
Interested in technical products and manufacturing.

Previous B2B sales or telephone sales experience would be beneficial, although knowledge of the marine or glass industries is not essential as product training will be provided.

Hours & Pay

Salary will be £29,120 based on a 40-hour week Monday to Friday.
