Full job description

Join the award-winning team at Bushmills Townhouse as our Duty Manager.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on hospitality professional who can lead from the front, stay calm under pressure and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across our restaurant and luxury accommodation.

The ideal candidate will:

Remain calm under pressure and lead by example.
Be hands-on with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and accommodation.
Motivate, support and develop the team.
Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential skills and experience:

Strong financial understanding of hospitality KPIs and industry standard targets.
2–3 years' experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role.
Knowledge of quality food and service standards.
Strong knowledge of food and wine service is desirable.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong problem-solving ability.
Excellent people management skills.
A genuine passion for customer service.
Experience creating social media content would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

Assuming the role of Assistant Manager in their absence.
Sales projections and forecasting staff rotas.
Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
Training, leading and developing staff.
Organising operations for the day and week ahead.
Managing daily and weekly staff allocations.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant and accommodation.

About the role:

Full flexibility is essential, including daytime, evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Salary will be discussed at interview.
