Receptionist – The Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris

Location: The Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris, Anglesey
Position: Receptionist
Hours: 4 days per week over a 7-day rota (including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays)

The Bulkeley Hotel is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout every guest's stay.

Key Responsibilities

Providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests.
Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Handling reservations, enquiries and guest requests in person, by telephone and via email.
Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records.
Providing information about the hotel, local attractions and services.
Liaising with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Resolving guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintaining high standards of presentation and customer care at all times.

Essential Requirements

Previous reception or front-of-house experience within the hospitality industry.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Good computer literacy and experience using hotel booking systems (preferred).
A professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work a rota covering 4 days over a 7-day week, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
