Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction, working on the roads , and utilities projects. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of site tasks, assisting with maintenance, and operating a range of tools and machinery. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within the horticulture, construction, and maintenance sectors. Candidates should be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn.

Duties

Assisting with construction and utilities
Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
Performing general site clearance and waste removal
Assisting with construction tasks such as material movement and site preparation
Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and tools
Supporting team members in various labouring tasks to meet project deadlines
Ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times

Skills

Experience or knowledge in construction and utilities
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery such as excavators and power tools
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools for construction or gardening tasks
Ability to operate heavy machinery like excavators safely (training can be provided)
Understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance
Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour over extended periods
Good organisational skills with attention to safety standards
Willingness to learn new skills within construction, gardening, or maintenance fields
Team player with effective communication skills
