Full job description

The Operations Planning Administrator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing efficient routes and schedules for our network of lawn technicians and surface technicians to carry out treatments. This role involves analysing data and coordinating with lawn technicians as well as other members of the operations team to ensure timely completion of services. The role includes the management of daily routes as well as our repeating routes with a core focus on reducing travel times & improving efficiency across the business.

Responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling

Develop and maintain efficient routes and schedules for lawn technicians.
Analyse travel time, service duration, and technician availability.
Coordinate with operations coordinator, customer service, and lawn technicians.
Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Implement and improve routing and scheduling processes and systems.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect and analyse route and service data.
Generate reports on technician productivity.
Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including Productivity & Driving Times.

Coordination and Communication

Communicate routes and schedules to lawn technicians and other relevant stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings and discussions to align with the wider operational team.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and optimise processes.

Experience

Experience in route planning is preferred, but not essential.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Great computer literacy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
