**Please kindly note that the quoted salary range is based on the full time equivalent. The actual salary assuming 0.55 of a full time post will be £18207 to £24917. The starting salary offered will vary based on the skills and experience demonstrated by the successful candidate.**

We are looking for an HR Officer to join our growing team supporting a dynamic technology and facilities business delivering innovative projects across the UK and internationally. Working alongside project managers, logistics teams, technologists, and engineers, you will play an important role in supporting the people and processes that keep our organisation running effectively.

About the Role

As HR Officer, you will provide essential support across a wide range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, HR systems, and payroll coordination. You will also help drive improvements in how we work by supporting digital workflows, process automation, and system development initiatives.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with people, and is motivated by creating efficient and positive employee experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting day-to-day HR administration across the employee lifecycle
Coordinating recruitment activities and interview scheduling
Preparing contracts, onboarding documentation, and HR correspondence
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Supporting payroll and benefits administration processes
Assisting employees with HR-related queries in a professional, emphatic and approachable manner
Working collaboratively with operational, technical, logistics, and project delivery teams
Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and support automation of administrative processes
Assisting with HR reporting, compliance, and process documentation
Contributing to HR projects and employee engagement initiatives

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an HR administration, people coordination, or HR support role
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage priorities and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems
Positive attitude towards learning new technologies and processes
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Desirable

Familiarity with HR systems or workflow management tools
Experience supporting process improvements or digital transformation initiatives
Experience within technology, engineering, logistics, media, or project-based environments
CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification or working towards one

Qualifications

5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (formerly A* to C), crucially including Maths and English Language.
