Overview

Join our family run business and be a part of our team. A part-time Bookkeeper, to join and support our other team members is a vital part of our financial operations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the smooth flow of our business activities. You will play a key role in supporting our accounting functions, providing clarity and organisation to our finance office. If you love working with numbers and are eager to contribute your expertise, this position is perfect for you!

Duties

Manage and record daily financial transactions using accounting software such as Xero, Excel
Reconcile bank statements, to a number of accounts and ensure all accounts payable are processed accurately and timely
Producing monthly statements to Landlords
Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and verifying account balances
Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes and streamline workflows

Experience

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting support role is vital
Proficiency with popular accounting software including Xero or equivalent platforms
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly
Prior experience working in small to medium-sized businesses is a plus
