Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales & Retail Administrator to join our small team. This role involves supporting sales operations, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between departments and clients. The successful candidate will utilise their strong IT skills, customer service experience, and organisational abilities to contribute to the efficient running of our sales and retail functions. This is a paid position suitable for individuals with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

Duties

Maintain and update customer records.
Assist with sales administration tasks, including processing orders, invoicing, and managing sales documentation.
Utilise Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Support the retail team by organising stock levels, processing transactions, and handling customer enquiries professionally.
Coordinate with other departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings efficiently.
Provide exceptional face to face customer service and via phone or email interactions.
Assist in organising promotional events or campaigns as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales administration or retail support roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong computer literacy and IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience with customer service is highly desirable.
Good time management skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
