As part of our continued investment in people and technology, we are looking to recruit an experienced Large Format Digital Printer to join our production team, operating our state-of-the-art SwissQprint Kudu UV flatbed printer.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced print professional to become part of a growing business that invests heavily in the latest equipment and values quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
The Role
Working at our Harden site on a double day shift, you will take full responsibility for operating the SwissQprint Kudu, ensuring all work is produced to the highest standards whilst meeting production schedules and customer deadlines.
This role requires someone with excellent technical ability, a strong eye for detail and a passion for producing outstanding print quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the SwissQprint Kudu UV flatbed printer.
- Setting up and running production jobs efficiently.
- Printing onto a variety of rigid and flexible materials.
- Monitoring colour consistency and print quality throughout production.
- Reading and interpreting job tickets and production instructions.
- Loading and unloading substrates safely.
- Carrying out daily maintenance and cleaning routines.
- Troubleshooting print quality and machine issues.
- Ensuring production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues across production and finishing departments.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience operating large format digital printing equipment.
- A thorough understanding of UV large format printing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and colour awareness.
- Experience working to demanding production schedules.
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work every time.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience operating SwissQprint machinery.
- Experience with Caldera, ONYX or similar RIP software.
- Knowledge of print file preparation and colour management.
- Experience within POS, display graphics or retail display manufacturing.
