Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This role involves operating machinery, fabricating components, and ensuring the efficient assembly of products. A commitment to quality and safety is essential in maintaining our high standards.

Duties

Operate milling machines and other production equipment effectively.
Utilise hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Work with logic controllers to monitor and adjust production processes.
Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production line.
Assemble components according to specifications while ensuring quality control.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to production tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with materials handling techniques is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
