Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar/Kitchen Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidates. The position is paid and suitable for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.

Duties

Prepare and serve beverages at the bar, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and professional service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and kitchen areas throughout your shift.
Restock supplies as needed, ensuring all items are available for service.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling procedures.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the venue.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing demands.
