Join the Oak & Core Team

Oak & Core is a brand-new Pilates studio in the heart of Bordon, Hampshire, dedicated to creating a welcoming space where movement, strength and community come together. We're passionate about helping people build confidence, improve their wellbeing, and enjoy every class they attend.

As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable and inspiring Reformer Pilates Instructors to join our growing team. We have multiple freelance opportunities available for instructors who can teach Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, or both.

If you're passionate about helping people move well, love creating an encouraging atmosphere, and want to be part of an exciting new studio from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Pilates Instructor at Oak & Core, you'll deliver engaging, safe and motivating classes for clients of all abilities. You'll help members develop strength, mobility, confidence and body awareness while creating an enjoyable experience that keeps them coming back.

You'll become an important part of our community, building relationships with members and helping shape the welcoming culture that Oak & Core is known for.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Reformer Pilates and/or Mat Pilates classes.

Create a positive, inclusive and supportive environment for every participant.

Adapt exercises to suit different abilities and fitness levels.

Ensure classes are safe, engaging and enjoyable.

Provide clear instruction, demonstrations and individual guidance where appropriate.

Maintain a clean, organised and professional studio environment.

Carry out equipment safety checks before and after classes.

Build strong relationships with members and encourage long-term participation.

Work collaboratively with the Oak & Core team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Continue developing your knowledge through ongoing professional learning.

What We're Looking For

A recognised Pilates teaching qualification (Mat and/or Reformer).

Experience teaching Pilates classes is preferred, although newly qualified instructors with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

Confident leading group sessions.

Friendly, approachable and passionate about helping others.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional, reliable and organised.

Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one).

Appropriate insurance to teach as a freelance instructor.
